A 66-year-old inmate from Clark County died at Northern Nevada Correctional Center earlier this month.
The Nevada Department of Corrections reported around 3:45 a.m. Feb. 9,
Gregory L. Dicus died at the Regional Medical Facility inside Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.
Dicus was committed from Clark County on Oct. 12, 1998. He was serving 14 consecutive sentences including two sentences of 10 years to life with possibility of parole for sexual assault victim under 16, six consecutive sentences of 6 years each for lewdness with a minor, and six consecutive sentences of 12 years each for child abuse with substantial bodily harm.
After an exhaustive search, NDOC staff members were unable to locate next of kin for inmate Dicus. Anyone with information concerning the location of a family member, please call 775-887-3309.
