LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — America's Brain Championships kicked off their first math competition Saturday afternoon at Bob Miller Middle School in Henderson.
Hundreds of kindergarten through 8th grade students came together for math contests, a live show from a math magician, a Ted Talk performer and a free chance to win tickets to Disneyland.
The competition is free to join and organizers are hoping that kids will learn to fall in love with math while having fun.
