Holiday season shipping deadlines are approaching!
The United States Postal Service says that mailers shipping their gifts overseas have until Dec. 10 to get the best rates. If not, they offer express shipping until Dec. 21.
If you're mailing a gift domestically, you have until Dec. 15 for the best rates, and until Dec. 23 for expedited shipping.
Military families have until Dec. 16 to send a care package to those serving overseas. Guidelines for packing, addressing, and shipping items to U.S. troops can be found here.
The Postal Service is also offering a discounted price of $16.75 on its largest Flat Rate Box, along with a free Military Care Kit based on items most frequently requested by military families. To order the kit, call 800-610-8734 and select "supplies."
