LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A groundbreaking ceremony was held Thursday for a future medical education building.
The Nevada Health and Bioscience Corporation and the UNLV School of Medicine hosted the ceremony.
Officials say the building will help improve health care in the Silver State.
"This new building and this new campus are going to train the next generation of physicians to improve the health care of our population in Southern Nevada,” said Marc Kahn, Dean at UNLV School of Medicine.
The new building is located next to the University Medical Center.
