LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Gov. Brian Sandoval was at UNLV Thursday to sign several new bills that will benefit higher education in Nevada. State lawmakers approved several measures during their latest session including $25 million for UNLV's new School of Medicine. There is another $2 million to pay for the planning of a new academic and research building for UNLV's College of Engineering. In addition, a bill allows for student veterans to earn college credit for their military education.
