Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval visited several schools in Southern Nevada Friday.
He met with students that are part of the JAG program. Jobs for America's Graduates is a development program to help at-risk students graduate from high school.
Three schools in the Las Vegas valley have adopted the program so far.
JAG was introduced to Nevada six years ago and the governor says the graduation rate has increased in impoverished areas.
Among the schools that Sandoval was scheduled to visit included Liberty High School, Silverado High School and Josh Stevens Elementary School.
