LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Howard Schultz is the latest 2020 presidential hopeful to announce a visit to the Las Vegas valley in recent weeks.
The former Starbucks CEO will be a keynote speaker at Epicor Insights conference at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on April 17.
Schultz stepped down from his position at Starbucks last year and said at the time he may consider a White House bid.
Schultz says he can win the presidential race as an independent candidate by drawing much of his support from disaffected Republicans, the Associate Press reports.
On April 8, three presidential hopefuls paid a visit to the valley.
Sens. Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar spoke at a conference while Mayor Pete Buttigieg met with voters at MadHouse Coffee and Veteran's Village.
