A possible hand grenade was reported Monday afternoon in a townhouse located in the 700 block of Kanarra Court, which is across from Galleria at Sunset mall in Henderson.
According to Henderson Fire Department, they received a call around noon from a maintenance worker who spotted the item.
A special unit was called to the scene around 1:15 p.m. to determine if the object is actually a grenade.
So far, no one in the nearby area has been evacuated. However, residents and etc. have been asked to stay inside.
It was later determined that the suspicious object was not a live hand grenade.
