Smoke and flames were seen coming from the home, according to witnesses, and officials say the call was upgraded to a high-level response.

Arriving crews reported 25% of the home's roof was already involved in fire and command requested additional units.

The blaze was able to be contained at about 3 a.m. with around 40 firefighters assigned to the call.

Two firefighters were treated in the incident, one for heat exhaustion and another for a minor medical issue, according to CCFD.

The structure was heavily damaged in the fire with one person displaced. The cause remains under investigation.
