Many fans were greeted by “at capacity” signs outside City National Arena for the Golden Knight’s practice game Sunday.
The line was out of the arena as hundreds of fans tried to get one last glimpse of the Knights before the Stanley Cup Final. Some fans told 13 Action News folks were lined up before the sun came up.
“It’s great for people like us hat never have chance to go to T-Mobile Arena and never get to see them skate, but get to see them skate,” said one fan.
Fans say even though some couldn't’t get into the game, they still wanted to come out to show their support.
"even if we can’t see them play here, we can watch them on TV and we’ll be cheering them on the whole time," says another fan.
The Golden Knights hit the ice against the Washington Capitols Monday at T-Mobile Arena.
