Dave Wilson, principal for Eldorado High School, has been "assigned to home" just a few days away from the start of school.

The Clark County School District has confirmed that he has been placed on leave but they are unable to discuss personnel matters.

Wilson is also the past president of Clark County Association of School Administrators and Professional-Technical Employees. He served as president from July 1, 2018, through July 31, 2019.

13 Action News has reached out to CCASA for comment and are expecting a return phone call.

Wilson was one of the 72 middle and high school principals who cast a no-confidence vote against Supt. Jesus Jara after he announced that he wanted to eliminate 170 dean positions in the school district.
