People in one eastside neighborhood say construction noise hasn't just been a nuisance, it's also causing collateral damage.
Clark County is working on a project to repave Mount Hood Street between Lake Mead and Bonanza.
But some neighbors living on side streets just feet away say the vibrations have been so powerful and loud, they've lost sleep and seen damage to their homes.
"I didn't know. I thought it was a minor earthquake the first couple days," says Yvonne Mason.
Mason says since the work began, she's seen small cracks forming on the siding of her house facing the construction.
13 Action News reached out to Clark County to help her. They tell us they would be in contact to address the issue. But they also say if the damages continue to the point where homeowners wanted to file a complaint or get money to fix it, that would fall on the paving company.
So far, Mason hopes it doesn't get to that point. But it looks like the construction isn't ending soon.
The county estimates the project won't be finished until January or February.
