A person is in critical condition following an early morning crash in North Las Vegas.

Police said the crash occurred between two vehicles around 3:30 a.m. near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gowan Road. There was one occupant in each vehicle.

The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition. Police said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle is believed to be at fault and is in custody. Speed appears to be a factor.

Martin Luther King Boulevard was closed from Cheyenne Avenue to Craig Road for most of the morning. The debris field from the crash extended to Cheyenne Avenue.
