UPDATE FEB. 27 10 P.M.: 13 Action News spoke with the 80-year-old victim who was assaulted during the robbery.

"Somehow he hit me hard enough to make my head go down," said Connie Pittan.

Pittan said she was seated at the slots close to the exit. She said she initially thought something fell from the ceiling and hit her in the face.

Police said surveillance video showed Webster strike Pittan in the face and take off with her purse.

"Have no idea what he hit her with, but probably his hand," said Connie's husband, Ed Pittan.

According to the arrest report, the victim's purse was sitting freely on the slot machine. Detectives said the victim didn't even notice the suspect.

Pittan said she is not allowing the attack to alter her lifestyle. She said casino staff have been very supportive. The 80-year-old has already gone back.

She has this advice for the man accused in the crime.

"Give it up, you're going to get hurt -- and bad -- one day."
