Teenager arrested for fatal shooting during drug deal at Las Vegas apartment complex

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 15-year-old has been arrested for the deadly shooting on Feb. 16 at the Clubs at Rhodes Ranch Apartment Homes on Warm Springs Road between Fort Apache Road and Durango Drive.

Police say the shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. They received a call about a man who had been shot and was lying in the driveway.

The man was transported to The University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives say the shooting victim met with two other males at the apartment complex to conduct an illegal drug sale.

The man who was shot got into an argument with one of the males. At some point, the shooter pulled out a gun and shot the man.

The teenager was arrested on Feb. 17.

The Clark County coroner has identified the deceased as 19-year-old Jame Baugh of Las Vegas.

Currently, no other information has been released about the teenager.
