A slot machine fell on a man after a woman drove into a 7-Eleven this past weekend.

Three people were injured in the crash at the location at 1805 E. Tropicana Avenue around 1 a.m. June 3. The man trapped under the slot machine received a broken neck while another man had his foot run over and a third person was injured by debris.

The driver, identified as Lula Jack, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence with substantial bodily harm.

When police arrived, Jack was sitting behind the wheel of a Buick sedan. She told police that her brakes didn't work as she was pulling from the parking stall and she couldn't stop. Police noticed that she had bloodshot, watery eyes and had an odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage from her breath.

Police asked her if she had been drinking and she told police she had a beer earlier. Police conducted sobriety tests and found that Jack was over the legal limit.
