29-year-old Jared Bedgood of Pahrump is facing child pornography charges after being arrested May 11.
The Nye County Sheriff's Office says they received a call about a domestic dispute from Bedgood's residence. Upon arrival, Bedgood's wife told sheriff's deputies that her husband had child porn in his possession.
Bedgood admitted to deputies that he had child porn on an old laptop but had not downloaded any child porn in years, since moving to Pahrump.
Deputies discovered 200 images of child porn featuring children between the ages of 4 and 15.
Bedgood was arrested and is being charged with possession of visual pornography of a person under the age of 16.
