UPDATE JUNE 11: North Las Vegas police say the 58-year-old man who was in critical condition at the hospital passed away from his injuries.

Police are still looking for others involved in the incident.

North Las Vegas police officers were called to a shooting Wednesday afternoon that involved 3 people.

The North Las Vegas Police Department said officers responded to the 4100 block of Donovan Way, near East Craig Road, about a shooting that happened at that location.

The preliminary investigation revealed 3 men were shot when a group of 4, which included 3 men and 1 female, attempted to rob them.

The group took off after the shooting, according to police, and the men were transported to the hospital.

Police said 2 men were stable once at the hospital, but a 58-year-old man was in critical condition with surgery scheduled for Thursday.
