LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Two men accused of stealing puppies at gunpoint in the valley Lawrence Warfield and Chey Rose were in court Tuesday morning.

The pair is being held with no bail.

Las Vegas police say Warfield and Rose posed as potential buyers of the three puppy bulldogs.

Investigators say they pulled out a gun, beat the owner of the dogs, and then took off with the puppies.

This happened near Twain Avenue and Fort Apache Road Monday, and officers later found the men in a neighborhood near Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards.

They both face robbery charges.
