Detectives are looking for a man who assaulted a woman near Casino Center and Oakey boulevards in the early-morning hours of Aug. 26. Police say the man forced a woman into his car at gunpoint. After the assault, he punched her in the face and shoved her out of the vehicle. The man is described as a Hispanic male between 40 and 50, medium to heavy build, and short salt-and-pepper hair. He may or may not have facial hair now. His vehicle is described as a newer black Kia 4-door sedan with dark windows. An event with a similar suspect was reported in May 2018 and detectives believe it may be the same man.
