Two men walking down Las Vegas Boulevard met up with a third man for a "narcotics transaction," the department says.

At some point, there was an altercation. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot another in the leg. His injuries are not life-threatening, police say.

Law enforcement had a portion of the plaza entrance near Planet Hollywood blocked off with crime scene tape for most of Sunday evening.
