One man is dead and two others are injured following a shooting in North Las Vegas.

Around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 1200 block of West Cheyenne Avenue, near Martin Luther King Boulevard, regarding a possible shooting. Arriving officers located a male inside an apartment suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medical personnel declared the man deceased on scene. The Clark County coroner has identified him as 23-year-old Xavier Alexander Doss of North Las Vegas.

Officers were notified that a 19-year-old man with possible gunshot wounds had arrived at Valley Hospital for treatment. He was in stable condition.

On Wednesday, detectives were notified a 20-year-old man arrived at Centennial Hospital with apparent gunshot wounds possibly related to this incident.  That man is also in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation indicates both the deceased male and the two injured males were shot as a result of the same incident. Detectives do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
