Las Vegas police seek more victims after man allegedly tries to sexually assault woman during break-in

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are asking any potential victims to come forward after a man was arrested, accused by police of trying to sexually assault a woman during a break-in.

Officers say 36-year-old Carlos Montero broke into a home on Oct. 4 on Silver Chaps Court, near Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Spencer Street, and tried to sexually assault a woman inside.

He was arrested and charged him with Burglary, Attempted Burglary, Kidnapping, Attempted Sexual Assault, and Battery with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims in the Silverado Ranch neighborhood who have not come forward.
