Las Vegas police seek man wanted in 2005 murder, identified through DNA testing

Las Vegas police are looking for a man accused in a 2005 cold case murder.

On Aug. 6, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department cold case detectives issued an arrest warrant for 48-year-old Dino Marks after he was identified through DNA testing. 

He is wanted in the Dec. 9, 2005 death of 84-year-old Dorothy Sargent. She was found asphyxiated in her residence in the 2200 block of Isabelle Avenue, near Fremont Street and Eastern Avenue. 

Police said Marks' whereabouts are unknown and his last law enforcement contact was with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in 2010. 

Marks has multiple tattoos including Marie, Nickie, Love Always and a picture of two hearts and a rose, all on his chest, along with a Statue of Liberty, twin towers and Big Apple on his left arm and a chili pepper and Argentina on his right arm. He also has a scar on his forehead.
