LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide scene Sunday afternoon.
Lt. Ray Spencer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said officers were called to the 1100 block of South Mojave Road at about 1 p.m. with reports of a person shot at that location.
Spencer says a man in his 20s was shot by another man in his 30s while they were part of a group hanging out in a nearby trailer.
The gunman for unknown reasons shot the man with a rifle before taking off from the scene along with another person.
Authorities say the man was taken to the University Medical Center with a gunshot wound but later died from his injuries.
