Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide Wednesday night.
A man was killed in a shooting, reported around 8:50 p.m. on East Van Buren Avenue, near Marion Drive and Owens Avenue. The man was found between two houses on the street after an argument.
Police said the man was pronounced dead on scene with a gunshot wound to the neck. The Clark County coroner identified him Friday as 37-year-old Derrian Joshua Stephens. His residence is unknown.
Two men and a woman were seeing fleeing the scene.
This is the 38th homicide investigated by Las Vegas police in 2017.
