A man in Pahrump is facing serious charges after trying to get away from police.
The chase and arrest was caught on camera.
According to Nye County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Jason Beck crashed into a car and took off.
Sheriff's deputies began chasing him and during the chase, Beck crashed again before ditching his truck and attempting to make a run for it with a baby.
He didn't get very far. Good Samaritans stopped him and held onto him until the sheriff's deputies could arrive. Video shows the Good Samaritans struggling with Beck and then holding him to the ground.
The infant was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Beck is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse, carrying a concealed weapon and a hit-and-run with injuries.
