LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — You have probably heard the saying "If at first you don't succeed, try try again."
That appears to have been the case on Wednesday for a want-to-be bank robber.
The first attempted robbery happened at about 11:45 a.m. March 27 at the Wells Fargo Bank in Boulder City. A man in gray clothing approached a bank teller and appears to hand her a note. The man then ran away.
The second attempted robbery happened at about 12:25 p.m. at the Nevada State Bank on Boulder Highway. Once again, a man approached a teller window and handed an employee a note.
No weapons were seen and the man ran away before he could be detained.
The two banks are about 8 miles apart.
Please contact the police department for either city if you know this man.
