UPDATE NOV. 12: The Clark County coroner has determined the causes of death for Sayah Deal to have been heat stroke and exposure to high temperatures. The child's death was also ruled accidental.

The young child was reportedly left in a vehicle by her father on H Street in early October while he argued with his girlfriend. The father claims that he did not believe the child was in danger because the air conditioner was on.

The father, 27-year-old Sydney Deal, was arrested after the incident. He was charged with child abuse/neglect. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 3.

UPDATE OCT. 6: The Clark County coroner has identified the child who was found dead in a car on H Street Monday as 1-year-old Sayah Deal. Her cause of death is still pending.
