2 homeless men beaten to death near Grand Central, South City

Two homeless men were killed near the intersection of Grand Central Parkway and South City Parkway about one month apart.

The first homicide happened on Jan. 4 around 12:30 a.m. Arriving officers found a deceased male that suffered blunt force trauma injuries to the head. He was later identified as Daniel Aldape.

Then on Feb. 3 around 9 a.m., officers were called to the same scene and discovered David Dunn deceased with similar injuries.

The suspect or suspects in both cases have not been identified, and a motive is not known.
