LAS VEGAS (AP/KTNV) — The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified 40-year-old Dennis David Hopkins from Las Vegas as the man found dead at a truck stop on Friday.

Police say Hopkins was found suffering from gunshot wounds northeast of the city, near Interstate 15 and U.S. 93. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooter left the scene and authorities have not released much suspect information. Associated Press reports police are looking for a man in his 60s who drove off in a car after the shooting.

Police Lt. Ray Spencer says the suspect worked with or for Hopkins, who lived with his wife behind the truck stop.

Spencer says there was a dispute of some kind between the suspect and the Hopkins, and that the suspect then went and got a gun and shot the Hopkins in the roadway.
