LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A local website is attempting to make finding toilet paper in the Las Vegas valley a little easier.

Nick Bembenek and Andrew Burnett decided to use their background in branding and software development to create a website after they saw the lack of toilet paper stock in stores.

A visual map on the site tells you where toilet paper is around town, after sharing a few details, and developers say it is user friendly.

There is no sign-up process or payments necessary, and according to the website founders, it takes less than 10 minutes to upload the information.

"We've had around 55,000 first-time visitors to the site, which is huge, and this is not just Las Vegas, it's nationally," Bembenek said, after confirming the service is available in other cities.

The website owners say it has cost them both time and money but has been worth it.

"The project is fully funded by ourselves, and we have no plans to monetize it. It's simply up there for the community," Burnett said.

Bembenek and Burnett say they hope the need for toilet paper goes down after the pandemic ends, but happy to help the community this way.
