Vaccine appointments canceled for first 2 weeks of February for Henderson senior citizens

HENDERSON (KTNV) — According to the City of Henderson, the Southern Nevada Health District has announced that demand is temporarily outpacing their supply for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Henderson says this includes multiple vaccination locations, including Sun City Anthem.

According to the current lane system for vaccinations in the state of Nevada, senior citizens ages 70 and above are currently eligible for vaccinations along with first responders and healthcare workers.

Henderson says that SNHD has assured them that there are enough vaccinations to cover appointment through Jan. 31.

However, all appointments scheduled for Feb. 1-13 at Sun City Anthem are being canceled.
