LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Treasure Island Las Vegas said it will begin offering free, on-site COVID-19 antibody testing for current employees in partnership with HealthCare Partners – Intermountain Healthcare.

HealthCare Partners will provide a staff of medical professionals to administer the antibody testing to TI’s employees.

Testing methods include a blood sample or a prick of the finger.

COVID-19 antibody testing remains hard to find in Nevada

Once an antibody test is administered, it takes approximately 20 minutes to process until results are available.

“We’re happy to be able to support Treasure Island and our community with these services as the city prepares to reopen and welcome visitors back to the state,” remarked Dr. Warren Volker, chief clinical officer of HealthCare Partners – Intermountain Healthcare.

To ensure employees remain safe, TI has also put forth policies and procedures that include: security temperature screenings; hand washing and hand sanitizing; requirements to stay at home if sick; social distancing; expanded training about COVID-19 and prevention; use of personal protective equipment; and strict cleaning protocols.
