Treasure Island Las Vegas releases tentative reopen date, safety policies

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Treasure Island Las Vegas announces health guidelines and a tentative opening date as it positions to reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Representatives at Treasure Island said it is dedicated to the health and safety of its guests, visitors, and staff as it makes plans to reopen to the public.

The policies released were for guests and employees, according to the company. With guidelines that include proper social distancing, use of personal protective equipment, security temperature screenings, hand washing, and hand sanitizing.

A TI spokesperson also said employees will have expanded training about COVID-19 and prevention, along with the property displaying signage of the health and safety guidelines in place.

As of Tuesday, the property was taking reservations for arrivals beginning May 22.

However, the date is subject to change as management said they are continuing to monitor the situation.
