LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Touro University Nevada will become the latest site for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in the Las Vegas valley Sunday in conjunction with the Southern Nevada Health District.
The vaccinations aren't yet available to the general public and the center will only be open to those receiving a vaccine by appointment.
According to a release, healthcare workers will be receiving vaccines Sunday, but Touro University staff have been working with the Southern Nevada Health District to establish "strike teams" to go out into the community to administer vaccinations.
