LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Statue of Liberty in front of New York-New York Las Vegas hotel-casino is wearing a mask.
The mask says "Vegas Safely" on it.
This isn't the first time Lady Liberty made a fashion statement. In the past she's also sported a Golden Knights and Las Vegas Aces Jersey.
The mask was installed by the 100-year-old Las Vegas sign company YESCO.

· Mask dimensions: 5-by-10 feet
· Mask was fitted to the face and the straps are adjustable and were tightened once installed
· The installation of the mask took six hours and required four workers, two of whom repelled with two assisting
“The install of the mask is a great way to remind residents and visitors in Las Vegas, that wearing a mask is mandatory,” said Jeff Young, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of YESCO. “We are proud to be part of this project.”
