Seniors in the Las Vegas Asian community receive COVID-19 vaccine

More seniors get the COVID-19 vaccine in Las Vegas at a clinic on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A number of seniors in our community were given their first COVID-19 vaccinations on Sunday.

Touro university brought 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine to the Tzu Chi Organization.

They gave vaccines to seniors in the Asian community who are 70 years and older.

There is a language barrier for a lot of these seniors and they were able to hear about this shot in their native language and ask questions as well.
