LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — As COVID-19 cases continue to rise and with flu season here, the Regional Transportation Commission says it hopes to to mitigate the spread with new technology.
Here's how it works:
When a person enters the facility, they step in front of a thermal camera that scans their face.
The person's temperature is displayed within two seconds.
If their temperature is above normal they will go to a secondary inspection for more testing and potential quarantine.
If it is normal, they are allowed to continue.
