OYO hotel-casino near Las Vegas Strip to lay off employees

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — This morning's rally comes as more companies in Nevada announce layoffs.

The OYO Hotel and Casino plans to lay off some of its employees starting on Nov. 12.

So far, at least 15 companies across the state have issued warning notices to employees.

That includes Live Nation Entertainment which wrote in a letter saying it has to extend its furloughs of employees beyond the six months they originally planned.

P.F. Changs also announced layoffs at its locations on the Las Vegas Strip, Henderson and in Reno.
