LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The extension of the eviction moratorium comes as many MGM Resorts International employees are being laid off.
18,000 MGM workers nationwide are out of a job as of today.
But it doesn't stop there. Spirit Airlines laid off more than 280 of its workers.
Additionally, Wynn hotel-casino laid off more than 150 and the M Resort laid off more than 400 workers.
So far 13 companies have sent out warning notices this month in Nevada and 26 sent out notices last month.
