UPDATE: Clark County officials postpone press conference until next week

11:30 A.M. UPDATE: The press conference has been postponed until next week.

Clark County and other local officials will provide the community an update on the latest efforts to mitigate the coronavirus at a news conference at 1:30 p.m. May 1 in the Commission Chambers of the Clark County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas.

Among those taking part in the news conference will be Clark County Commission Chairman Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Clark County Fire Chief/Emergency Manager John Steinbeck, University Medical Center (UMC) CEO Mason VanHouweling and Southern Nevada Health District Chief Health Officer Dr. Fermin Leguen.

The news conference will be carried live on Clark County Television as well as the County’s Facebook and YouTube channels @ClarkCountyNV and on the County website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov.

Those attending the news conference will be asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
