Circa hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas to close Stadium Swim on NYE to guests

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Hotel officials with the Circa hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas have decided to close its pool deck to guests on New Year's Eve.

The announcement was made on Wednesday to adhere to Clark County and the city of Las Vegas' restrictions on mass gatherings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The hotel’s other amenities will remain open to the public.

The property sent the following statement regarding the decision:

“In light of county directives on restrictions for mass gatherings, Stadium Swim will be closed to guests on New Year’s Eve. The space is being used for Nexstar’s New Year’s Eve show, starring Zowie Bowie, which will still air at 9 p.m. PT tomorrow on Nexstar-owned affiliates across the country.”
