LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The site of the new Circa hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas is hitting a major construction milestone overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning.
A first foundation pour is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. as a convoy of 205 concrete trucks will deliver 2,050 cubic yards of concrete to set the foundation for Circa, which is slated to open in December 2020.
Owner Derek Stevens will celebrate this significant construction milestone Tuesday morning as he will be on-hand and available for interviews with the media about the advancement of the project.
Circa is expected to deliver an all-new integrated resort concept to the heart of Downtown Las Vegas at the historic 18 Fremont Street site.
The 1.25-million-square-foot 777-room resort, casino, and spa is slated to hold a variety of immersive culinary, entertainment and gaming experiences - including the largest sportsbook in the country.
Stevens is collaborating with Steelman Partners to oversee Circa’s architecture and design with McCarthy Building Companies Inc. as the contractor and Tré Builders as construction manager.
