On Sept. 2, Club Tattoo at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino will host a complimentary memorial fundraising event to celebrate the life of Chester Bennington from noon to 2 p.m. at Saxe Theater.

Queuing for the event will begin no earlier than 8 a.m. and the first guests to arrive and stay in line will receive wristbands for seating in the theater. Additional standing room will be available in Saxe Theater’s lounge, where the event will be broadcast throughout the venue. Space is limited in both areas.

The memorial service will be hosted by KYFI 550 radio personality, Gregg Paul, and will feature a three-song acoustic performance by Bennington’s former bandmates from Grey Daze and Dead by Sunrise, as well as Julien-K. Fans will also have the opportunity to share personal stories on stage.

In honor of Bennington, Club Tattoo guests may enjoy discounts on select tattoos for $60, memorial T-shirts for $32 and piercings for $25, with 25 percent of all proceeds benefiting Music For Relief’s One More Light fund.

Postcards will be provided to those looking to send personalized condolences to the band and a memorial book will be placed inside Club Tattoo for fans to write in and share their memories.

Originally created in 1995, Bennington partnered with industry leaders Sean and Thora Dowdell to create Club Tattoo, which now boasts two studios in Las Vegas and four in Arizona. The location at the Miracle Mile Shops opened in 2009.
