LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District reports that the Board of School Trustees will be presented with a transitional plan to move to face-to-face (hybrid) instruction.
Wednesday, CCSD noted this plan is scheduled to be presented during the Regular Board of School Trustees meeting set for Oct. 22, according to the school district's social media account.
The district also reported on social media that it will continue to follow the guidance of health professionals.
The Clark County School Board Trustees voted unanimously back in July for a full-time distance learning model to begin the 2020-2021 school year which began on Aug. 24 during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Clark County School District staff previously suggested the distance learning model for safety reasons citing COVID-19 infection rates and concerns for staff and student safety.
