UPDATE OCT. 29: If you thought Monday morning was cold, it is even colder today.

Wake-up temperatures for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are 40. 36 and 34 respectively.

That means there is a freeze warning in place for Thursday morning.

Average lows this time of year are usually in the low 50s. That means current temperatures are 15 to 20 degrees below normal. However, it is not expected that we will break any records.

Las Vegas woke up to some chilly temps on Monday morning.

Early Monday morning temperatures were in the 40s but it felt like the 30s with the wind.

Highs won't climb past the upper 50s this afternoon, which is 16 degrees colder than average.

The valley will be back in the 40s by about 9 p.m. and Tuesdays high will only be a few degrees warmer with wind gusts of 25mph.

Unfortunately, Wednesday will not be any warmer. In fact, it will be about 20 degrees below average with only a high of around 54 degrees. Temperatures could dip below freezing on Wednesday night.
