A cat died in an apartment fire Monday night.
The fire was reported at 10:12 p.m. in the 4200 block of Zavala Street, near Lindell and Flamingo roads. Clark County firefighters arrived at 10:16 and reported light smoke showing.
The fire was knocked down at 10:25 p.m. and was contained to the apartment of origin.
There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The damage lost has not been determined.
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. The number of displaced was not released.
