13 Action News noticed someone on social media talking about a problem with the crosswalk on Maryland Parkway, across from the UNLV Student Union.
Apparently, the system is down. No matter how many times you push that red button, the lights won't turn on.
Considering the fact that this is right near campus, this area has a lot of foot traffic, so you can imagine the kind of problem this could be for a lot of people. On top of that, Maryland Parkway is a very busy street, and crossing it means crossing six lanes of traffic.
This is exactly the kind of thing Traffic Troubles is here for.
Once we heard about it, we reached out to RTC and Clark County. 13 Action News found out a crew is working on the problem, and it should be back up and running soon.
