There were no injuries reported in the fire on Palm Springs Way. The cause is under investigation.

11:24 P.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at 2800 Palm Springs Way, near Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive, around 10:54 p.m. There was a heavy fire in the attic. All the occupants are out of the building and are OK, according to firefighters.

11:12 P.M.
At least one person was transported to the hospital after a crash in the 1600 block of East Sahara Avenue, near Maryland Parkway around 10:15 p.m. Impairment does not appear to be a factor.
10:50 P.M.
Police said they searched the White Sands Avenue home and did not find any suspects. Police have cleared the scene.
10:35 P.M.
Las Vegas police and K9 responded to the 6000 block of White Sands Avenue, near Westcliff Drive and Rainbow Boulevard, after a homeowner called to report hearing someone in the garage.
5:30 P.M.
One person was displaced in a fire at 3947 Tara Ave., near Pennwood Avenue and Valley View Boulevard. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said it was kitchen fire originating on the stove. There was $25,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.
3:55 P.M.
A 15-year-old boy was shot in North Las Vegas. It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Broad Arrow Drive, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gowan Road. The teen was transported to University Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the foot. Police do not have a suspect description.
3:45 P.M.
An officer received minor injuries from breaking a window during a fire. Clark County Fire Department said an upstairs apartment was destroyed and a downstairs apartment has water damage after the fire near Sahara Avenue and Joe W. Brown Drive. Two families were displaced. The cause is still under investigation.
2:52 P.M.
56-year-old Jesus Acosta, who works as a custodian at Tarkanian Middle School, was arrested on April 15 for 3 counts of contact with a minor or mentally ill person. He has been placed on unpaid administrative leave. His bail has been set at $6,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 18.
1:30 P.M.
A WestJet flight was forced to return to McCarran International Airport around 12:38 p.m. The flight bound for Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada had to return due to landing gear concerns. There were 150 people on board.
9:45 A.M.
A man and a woman were parked on Lake Mead Boulevard, east of Hollywood Boulevard, watching the city lights when a black man showed a gun and robbed them of their vehicle around 6:15 a.m. The suspect was last seen driving the vehicle on Lake Mead Boulevard.
5 A.M.
At 4:18 a.m. fire crews responded to a call of flames coming from a two-story home at 5477 Requa Ave., near Charleston and Nellis boulevards.
The fire was extinguished at 4:42 a.m. and the reason for the fire is currently under investigation.

4 A.M.
A woman was hit crossing Flamingo Road near The LINQ shortly before 2:45 a.m. Police say she was not in a crosswalk. She was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver stayed on scene.
